The Parish Church of San Nicol Vescovo, rising in the centre of the village, was built before 1763 on the highest ground of the inhabited centre, where the Nuragh'e Luxia was once found. The Church has a Latin-cross floor-plan with side chapels opening onto a central nave. The facade has clear neoclassical lines, with a Greek-temple front, given by the high columns that support a triangular tympanum. The village also has the Sa mitza de fagoi fountain where shepherds and passers-by once used to quench their thirst. The inhabited part is not far from the beaches of the Arbus coast, a series of charming bays at a distance of about twenty kilometres. The calendar of events includes, between May and June, the Feast of Sant'Isidoro, the protector of farmers. In September, at the beginning of the grape harvest, the feast dedicated to San Nicol Vescovo, the Patron Saint of the village, is organised. On 20th July, the Feast of Santa Margherita, protector of children, is celebrated. The "Arcidano produce' is an interesting event, organised by the local tourist board, with an exhibition of the various local agricultural and craftwork products. The village also boasts the Claudio Monteverdi polyphonic choir which was set up in 1988 on the initiative of Maestro Dante Muscas.
