Ruinas

The village offers a number of interesting archaeological remains, such as the two nuraghi of "Nurampei" and "De s'Enna de sa Pira"; the latter lies on the border with Villa Sant'Antonio. The little country Church of San Teodoro is also very interesting, it is of distant Byzantine origins and rises near the ancient Roman station called "Ghentiana". Two important feasts are held between Spring and Summer and attract a great number of people from the Marmilla area and beyond; on May 19th, San Teodoro is celebrated with a long procession which leads from the historic centre as far as the little country church dedicated to the Saint; on August 19th, it is the turn of the feast of San Giorgio, to whom the Parish Church is dedicated and for which concerts and traditional dancing are organised.
