An expanse of white, fine and very soft white sand, protected by dunes full of junipers. Porto Zafferano (or Cala Zafferano) is a beautiful beach in the territory of Teulada, including the area of the military polygon. Therefore it is accessible only by sea, in July and August (without disembarking) or you can reach it with guided tours departing from the nearby Tuerredda and Porto Tramatzu, two other enchanting 'terrestrial paradises' that together with Is Arenas Biancas - southern part of Porto beach Pino - are the symbols of Teulada. Porto Zafferano is a wide arch of very white and thin grains, with soft pink reflections in the water's edge due to fragments of shells deposited by the waves. It overlooks an extraordinarily transparent sea, the water is very low for a long distance offshore, while the low cliff on the seabed, perfectly visible even when the depth increases, gives the water infinite nuances, from emerald green to turquoise.
