The parish church of Santa Maria, with a single nave with a wooden vault, is the main sacred building of Genuri. It is located in the north on a hill overlooking the country. Characterized by splendid seventeenth-century chapels, it was modified and enriched over the centuries up to the eighteenth century. Note the Gothic chapel of Nostra Signora del Carmine but with Renaissance-style decorations and the seventeenth-century chapel of Nostra Signora delle Grazie, which contains a 17th century baptismal font.
