Sa Fogaia Siddi Archaeological Naturalistic Park

Particularly important for the Siddese community, the area of Sa Fogaia has been frequented by man since prehistoric times, with residential settlements and for carrying out pastoral, agricultural and woodworking activities. The presence of a corridor nuraghe, Nuragic, Punic and Roman settlement remains, scattered obsidian linked to a lithic workshop, enclosures for the shelter of animals, "constructions" and terraces for cultivation testify to this. The Park shows spaces in which the holm oak wood prevails, others in which herbaceous populations predominate, and still others represented by Mediterranean scrub.
