Chiesa San Quirico (XV secolo)

The parish church of San Quirico, whose exact year of construction is not known, stands on a pre-existing building. It is assumed that the building dates back to 1500, since on the occasion of the restoration of the Capella del Rosario (also called "Capella Pintada", due to the characteristic presence of numerous frescoes on the vault, now no longer visible) an inscription in Latin was found containing the date of 1608, which would suggest, therefore, the existence of the church for some time. The church was blessed in January 1953, following numerous renovations and extensions, which began in 1700. Inside you can admire precious marble furnishings, including the stoup and the pulpit. In the main altar, also in polychrome marble, inside a niche is the simulacrum of the saint to whom the church is dedicated.
