Terme Romane Su Angiu

Three kilometers from the town, in a valley of poplars, olive trees and mastic trees, stands the country church of Santa Maria Angiargia (or Bagnaria), which, according to tradition, dates back to the 12th century and originally belonged to the Benedictines. In the vicinity of the sanctuary you can see the ruins of an ancient village and a monastery. A hundred meters away are the remains of the ancient Roman baths and an ancient sacred well, su Angiu (the bathroom), two meters high, equipped with steps, which allow you to touch the bottom, and niches on the walls.
