Church of San Michele Arcangelo (16th century)

The church of San Michele is a religious building located in Collinas, a town in southwestern Sardinia. Consecrated to Catholic worship, it is the seat of the parish of the same name and is part of the diocese of Ales-Terralba. The church is located in the center of the town; it was built in the sixteenth century in Gothic-Aragonese form but has undergone repeated alterations over time. Inside it houses three wooden statues of the Neapolitan school from the 16th and 17th centuries, and a polyptych dedicated to the Virgin of Carmine made by artists of the Stampace school.
