Carcere spagnolo

Spanish Prison The route from the Liberty Building to the Spanish Prison winds along a characteristic itinerary, through an antique subway called ' su Porci ', made of stone houses, with wrought-iron balconies and carved-wood doors. The prison, raised in the first half of the XVII century, is surrounded by inhabited houses whose height impedes the external view. It is a square-plan structure on two floor, each with an entrance, and a partial attic called ' su staulu farzu ' (' the fake attic '). It represented justice government for 300 years, until 1975. http://www.sardegnaturismo.it/
