The beach of Cala Fuili, set in along the large gulf of Orosei, has coarse, light-coloured gravel mixed with sand and pebbles and surfacing rocks. Its waters are crystal clear and of a changing blue due to the plays of light created by the sun reflecting off the sea bed. A further splash of colour is provided by the green of the vegetation that crowns the beach and runs right down to the water’s edge. The corner of nature was chosen as the set for the film "Travolti da un insolito destino" (Swept Away) in the version with Mariangela Melato and Giancarlo Giannini (1974).
