This is one of the most stunning coves in the whole Mediterranean, a national natural heritage site and celebrated especially for its turquoise sea, made even clearer by some underwater springs, and for the beauty of some marble rocks polished by time. Its small beach is covered in tiny rounded white pebbles. Its beauty is enhanced by an impressive stone arch straddling the sea and the majestic natural spire of Punta Goloritzé, a must-do for the many rock climbers who come to the island. This imposing pinnacle rises just behind the cove, and is indeed an irresistible magnet for free climbers. The beach consists of coarse grained white sand and pebbles. Its shallow waters make it safe for children. The breathtaking scenery with its combination of azure sea, majestic cliffs and deep green vegetation covering the slopes, is home to Eleanor’s Falcon, a bird of prey that builds its nest here.
