The Cala Ginepro beach consists of fine, clear sand, interspersed with flat rocks smoothed by the sea and time. Its waters are clear and shimmering blue thanks to the play of light reflected by the sun from the pebbled-strewn bottom. It is named after a clump of juniper trees mixed with Mediterranean shrubs, creating a green band around this lovely cove in counterpoint to the light blue sea. The shallow waters make it a child-friendly beach. Its good exposure to the wind makes it much loved by windsurfers.
