Sa Mandra is located in the north west of Sardinia, a few miles from Alghero, called Barceloneta – little Barcelona – because of their ancestry and fraternity with the Catalan capital. Starting from there, you can experience the famous Sardinian sea, but, moving slightly towards the countryside, you can meet landscapes and agro-pastoral activities typical of the ancestral Sardinia.
Walking through the alleys of Sa Mandra is a journey through the time. Our guests are hosted in the old farmhouse, restored keeping the original features. The gardens fragrant with herbs, in memory of the gardens of the Sardinian women that with herbs and plants fed and cared the community. Along the paths, hundreds of items of the agro-pastoral Sardinian tradition, a real museum, telling more than two hundred years of history and culture. Sa Mandra has five bedrooms, equipped with various comforts: air conditioning, plasma TV, safe, wet bar and bathroom. The rooms were furnished with unique furniture that was created by Sardinian artisans.
