Genuri has plenty of well-known country feasts and festivals. The feasts are of a religious nature like the ones dedicated to San Marco, to San Dorino and for Santa Maria of Monserrato, "Sa Munzerrada", at the beginning of September. On these occasions a lot of care goes into the making of bread and the sweet and cakes cooked in the traditional wood-burning ovens.
