La Cattedrale di Cagliari

The 'Cattedrale de Santa Maria' (Cagliari Cathedral) is located next to the Palazzo Archivescoville (archbishops residence) and the 'Palazzio Viceregio', now the seat of sardinia's regional government. Close by the 'Museo Archaelogico Nazionale' shares the site of the original city arsenal with the 'Pinacoteca Nazionale' (Sardinian art), the 'Museo d'Arte Siamese' and the bizarre 'Raccolta di Cere Anatomiche' (collection of early 19th century anatomical wax models) collectively this area is known as the the 'Cittadella dei Musei' and is close to the Torre de S. Pancrazio. From Porta Cristina you can get a view of the other side of the city.
